The role of multidisciplinary teams in healthcare is to ensure that clients or patients receive personalized healthcare services that utilizes a holistic health lens. During my attendance at the 2015 ASAC (Administrative Sciences Association of Canada) conference, a talk regarding team work in the healthcare context was delivered. The way we view multidisciplinary care is often colored by our experiences. Personally, I value the opportunities that were offered to me. Working and learning with professionals from such diverse backgrounds gave me an amazing opportunity to further mold my team competencies.
